We have a couple of spiders like this living in our yard and I decided to put my macro lens to work on this one. My husband says they are well-fed from all of the bugs they catch on their webs. This one is at least the size of a quarter if not bigger. Shortly after this portrait he disappeared from the web; I didn't walk anywhere near it for fear of squashing it, or worse having it crawl over my feet!!!
