Feeling a Little Ruff

Poor Fudge had to have an operation yesterday to remove in-growing eye lashes and freeze the hair follicles.
He is being a very brave patient and insisted on being taken for a walk this evening, despite looking as though he is wearing a lampshade on his head.

Poor Fudge. Not only does he have to wear the collar out on a walk but his Mom publishes a shot of him looking like this so the whole world can see him this way... I think he'll get over it :-)

These collars are really strange looking. I hope Fudge can have it taken off soon. At least he can walk. I've seen dogs who had problems with them. He's still beautiful even with this on him and this is a wonderful portrait.

Oh poor boy! I'd feel pretty dejected if I had to wear such a silly looking contraption. Hope Fudge is back to his old self soon with healthy eyelashes.
