The Chapel of Mosen Rubi are located in the Plaza de Mosen Rubi, at number 9. Since the nineteenth century, scholars of Freemasonry have ensured that this chapel is a temple full of esoteric references related to the Masonic order, the which belonged to Diego de Bracamonte, lord of Sunwell and one of the nombles most important of Avila. This was beheaded publicly in the Plaza del Mercado Chico for allegedly leading a revolt against the king's tax collection policy of the time, Philip II. The beautiful chapel is inside the Walls of Avila, near the square that bears his name and Sunwell Diego de Bracamonte was the patron of the chapel to his beheading
