Eastern Tent Caterpillar Moth (Malacosoma americanum)
Asheboro, NC - "at the Zoo"

(NOTE: the Forest Tent Caterpillar Moth looks the same but is a lighter brown)
(I have two reference books and one reverses the identification of the other.)
(Internet check of Forest Tent examples leaves ID very inconclusive.)
(Internet check of Eastern Tent examples are mostly in agreement so I'm going with that.)
(Confirmation or opinions welcome.)
