This older manual focus lens is attached to the camera via a Tamron Adaptall 2 unit and a Rainbow Imaging Minolta to NEX adapter. With the Tamron extension tube installed, the lens is capable of a maximum magnification of 1:1. Manual focusing is extremely easy and precise, using the NEX-7's "focus peaking" feature.
