The grandchildren and I were playing in "Lala's Garden" (yes... I am Lala!), putting peanuts out for the blue jays.
To them... "hiding" peanuts is as much fun as an Easter egg hunt.
Once the peanuts were hidden, we sat very quietly on the porch... waiting and watching.
Before long the blue jay was squawking in the trees, and then swooped down to grab a peanut off the little cherub's head. He made another quick pass to get the one in the cherub's arms.
With that, we all broke out in laughter with "high-fives" all around!
