Another rare sighting for our area and a first for me. I missed the White-faced Ibis that appeared in Ottawa whilst I was in Newfoundland. This Glossy Ibis was found near Cornwall, Ontario which is about an hours drive from Ottawa. I was happy to get a shot of it before it too took off again. It was the only Ibis there. Perhaps it was blown off-course during one of the recent hurricanes.
