The wind, it was blowin' that day. Thankfully there were seats inside the restaurant at the end of St Kilda Pier, so we were able to watch the mostly sunlit waters from behind the protection of the windows.
My companion decided that if you're having lunch by the water, fish was the apposite dish and had the fish of the day. I found the argument persuasive but not convincing, and had the lamb shanks.
We both, naturally, had the chocolate dessert.
