A side story about prices in Vietnam.

This evening, nine of us went to an outdoor German Beer Garden located next to
the hotel. After a half-liter of "German" beer each and a variety of dinners
that we shared, we rounded the expense up to the next local currency we had
and each gave a 100,000 dong note - $5; before the tip, it was $3.50.
