This is like winter desert. It is just as baren seeming, and just as beautiful as the desert can be. Awesome and potentially very dangerous. It is amazing how much a landscape can change when a big storm hits. People change also for a little while. We become friendlier. The world becomes more peaceful and quiet. This is of course all short lived. The benevolence disappears faster than the snow can melt. As soon as the roads open back up, it is business as usual. Get out of my way!
