The major spectacle on the CSP's Second Subdivision was the stupendous Halfmoon trestle. Somehow this pile of toothpicks
managed to hold up trains into the 21st century. The bridge is a lasting monument to the skills of the civil engineers, carpenters
and maintainers who managed to keep it in service for more than 90 years.
