The coldest day of the year hitting -10oC overnight and the most snow fall
I can recall in many a year. Couldn’t venture very far with the roads in chaos!
The white colour of the Harbour Mastyers House didn’t look out of place in the
Siberian landscape of Aberdeen. I wanted to get a picture today to depict just how
COLD it was. I used a very long shutter speed to make the sea look like a frozen
lake by using a 10 stop Neutral Density filter. With the sun setting to the west
there was the slightest hint of a pink hue. Hope it is warm where you are!

A very unusual sight on the beach groynes with the snow falling so fast
the salt water and air could not melt it quick enough.
