there are breath-taking views from the monasteries at Meteora...this shot was taken on the terrace at Agios Stefanos, the one sanctuary occupied by nuns...below lies the town of Kalambaka and the Peneus river valley

Interesting that all of the buildings in the town have the same type of roofing material. Here in NZ, it's hard to see two houses with the same roof construction, let alone colour. Great perspective David.
