seat of the oracle

Delphi, Sterea Ellada

Delphi is still a magnet for visitors after more than 2,500 years...the oldest temples were built in the 7th century BC, and ever since then it has been a place of pilgrimage for those seeking the advice of Apollo through the medium of an oracle...this sacred place was also considered to be the navel of the world

Dramatic view of the ruins - composition emphasis on the line of the portico, reenforced by the pointing arm of the visitor. Well done! V
