Tripod, 400mm w 2X teleconverter cabled to laptop running DSLR Remote Pro
w Live View 5x zoom. The 40D was cabled via USB to a laptop on a table on
the deck. I was in a chair w the camera pointed straight up on the tripod
at my side. While viewing the image w Live View on the laptop I was able
to reach up and adjust the focus. My eyes aren't great: the laptop screen
helps, especially w Live View zoom..
