In front of the horse on the right, figure 29 is shown getting ready. He faces right with one foot raised on a stone. His hands seem to be tying the lace of a sandal. The leather sole only is carved, while other details will have been painted in. The youth wears a cloak pinned on one shoulder and a sunhat, which has been tossed back to rest on the nape of the neck. On the left, figure 28 draped in tunic and cloak raises his right arm to hold the mane of a horse.
