Apocalyptic Skye

Storr, Skye, Scotland

Another dawn climb to the cliff viewpoint and I had already decided not to bother taking another shot from here unless something truly astounding happened, well it did and it wasn't what I was expecting. The sky turned apocalyptic, not in terms of its colour more it's outrageous pattination. In event I opted to shoot the famous pinnacles with a very wide angle lens reducing considerably there usual stature within the frame. I am very pleased with the unusual result.

Lovely capture. That sky is to die for (or is that what you meant when you named it? :-) V
