Forsyth County, North Carolina - Birds

North Carolina has been home since 1977, and the birders of Forsyth County taught me much of what I know about bird identification and behavior. I find the combination of digital photography and the internet irresistible, so this was my first attempt at a webpage. Forsyth County is located in the Piedmont - an area above the fall line and just getting hilly before the terrain changes to mountains. Most of these birds are local residents, but I hope to capture a few neotropical migrants and winter visitors.
