To go in leather aprons.
14 March 2013 (526)

Upper Tysoe, Warwickshire

Although it's probably a few months
since I reported damage to our old street sign,
I was delighted, today, to see an extremely fastidious
workman replace it with great patience and skill.
It's so good to see someone who cares deeply
about the lasting quality of their work
(especially when it's so cold).

His hi-vis jerkin has replaced the leather apron and it's good that a skilled man should be appreciated for his craft.

Seems it's not as often as we should that we see people taking pride in their work these days. Nicely captured.

A fine catch of this precise workman. New sign should be very nice. V

Measure twice, cut once. Main Street will look like new when he is finished! Nice shot, tones and details are super! V

Perhaps also pleasing that he did not see the need for an array of bright orange fences to warn us mere mortals of so much danger in this operation!
