Everything here from darkest black to whitest white despite the predominant mid-tones.

The strong vertical and horizontal lines juxtaposed against the sleekness of the lamp and boxes in the forground, and the jumbled tangle of bare tree limbs in the background, provide the interest in this picture I believe.

I chose F/4 as aperture so that the foreground (boxes, lamp, window frame) could be in focus with the outdoors beyond OOF.
