Played at Belchertown's new High School. Division I Amherst handily won the first half, doubling Belchertowns output. But in the second half Division II Belchertown mounted a furious charge which prevented Amherst from widening the gap. All in all though, a first of season victory for the Amherst squad, and perhaps a morale-booster for the Belchertown boys as well.
