It's a special day today for my pack.
My humans celebrate their 12th wedding day.
Took them 19 years to get married. They were a couple since 1973.
Ancient history, before my mother was even born!
They finally got married on the 10th of June in 1992,
in the town hall of the small island of Schiermonnikoog, in the Dutch Waddensea.
So Schiermonnikoog island is where we're going today, just the three of us, to celebrate!
We have to catch the 9.30 ferry from Lauwersoog harbor.

I love the island! I have good memories there.
We're going on a big beach hike again. We'll bring cookies, and there'll be birds,
and all those other interesting dog things in the surf and the sand, with strong smells.
Oh boy, I can't wait!
