This market also had a mural on the front of it, but when we drove up there were around 10 guys hanging out in front, and I just said, “No way.” Luckily, when we turned the corner, there was another mural that was better lit, anyway.
The mural, which stretches around three sides of the Friendly Food Market, was created by Eric B. Ricks, who emigrated to the States from Liberia as a teenager. I'd like to go back some time and photograph the other sides.
