Built-in snowplows

This was my original picture of the woolly mammoth, which didn’t show much of his massive body, but at least got his tusks, not seen in my iPhone picture of him. I found those tusks fascinating and learned they were used to move snow out of the way so they could get to the vegetation beneath.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
