The forest dinosaur

I liked the backdrop they provided for this enormous fossil. Its tail was so long it stretched around a number of other displays.

*****

The “dinosaur exhibit” -- as everybody calls it, although it’s much more than that -- in the newly reopened fossil hall at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History is fascinating. We finally got to see it after waiting six months for the crowds to die down (which they hadn’t, really).

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

Just for the color, posted earlier:

That is a great backdrop. Makes for an excellent composition minus the tail. :-) V
