To the victor...

This is what I think will be a short gallery from a visit to the newly reopened fossil hall at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History. We’ve been wanting to go for almost half a year, but the lines outside the museum were so long, we decided to wait until after the tourist season. Unfortunately, school is out this week, so the lines were almost as long as before.

In any case, the “dinosaur exhibit” (which is what everybody calls it) is excellent, and according to the museum, "The exhibition tells the story of 3.7 billion years of life on Earth, highlighting the connections among ecosystems, climate, geological forces and evolution and encouraging visitors to understand that the choices they make today will have an impact on the future.”

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
