'Air Force One Experience'

We had hoped to get closer to the “Air Force One Experience” at Maryland’s National Harbor, but since we hadn’t bought tickets online in advance, they wouldn’t even let us into the parking lot just to take pictures. So we found a place to park nearby and climbed a little hill to get a shot of it.

This full-size replica of Air Force One is a refurbished Boeing 747 cargo plane that was floated down the Potomac River by barge to National Harbor, where tours are available to the public. For the amazing sight of it being transported, go to http://wtop.com/local/2018/09/air-force-one-experience-at-national-harbor-gives-glimpse-into-presidential-travel/slide/1/

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

Very cool! It's too bad that you weren't able to get tickets. I'd love to see what the inside of the real thing looks like. V
