This way to Capitol Hill

The US Capitol stands out like a beacon in the late afternoon sun, and I couldn’t resist snapping this drive-by on our way home. The building is actually on a rise that’s not obvious here, but our neighborhood of Capitol Hill is immediately behind it.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

A better time in DC. I hope that the impeachment trial reinforces awareness of Trump's evil deeds, even though it won't result in a conviction. Most Republican senators seem to have no moral compass and care only about their careers. Pretty disgusting.
