Fall diagonal

This tree was just amazing, lighting up the entire block (so I couldn’t resist taking a couple of pictures of it).

*****

Fall came very late to Capitol Hill this year due to unseasonably warm temperatures until the end of October and rain all summer long. The Washington Post had, in fact, called the color "muted," so I set out to prove them wrong and also show off the Victorian houses that host the trees.
