Maryland across the Potomac

We took a drive out to Great Falls Park, a national park only about 15 miles up the Potomac from Washington on the Virginia side. It was a bit late in the day when we went, but we had a few hours to hike around in the beautiful natural setting and enjoy the falls, Aqueduct Dam and a number of geese and ducks.

Looking across the Potomac River to Maryland, before we got to the park.

Sitting pretty for a new camera, posted earlier.
