US Botanic Garden

The last of the plant-based models in the Season’s Greenings exhibit at the US Botanic Garden. I think I have just one more picture to go to finish off the gallery, which has been a pretty long one.

The windows of the conservatory were made from willow sticks, rope and thatch reed.

Fitting view, posted earlier.

I like the symmetry of this with those balanced poinsettias framing the building.

Another neat looking model! I can't imagine the work that must go into making one of these!
