Corpse flower ready to bloom

The largest corpse flower at the US Botanic Garden is entering peak bloom today, but unfortunately we’ll be on the road. Maybe we’ll be back from Tennessee when the other two bloom!

Something has really slowed down on Pbase today to the point that I can hardly comment. Maybe it's a good thing we're leaving town because this is driving me crazy.

We have these flowers in Houston. They get quite a crowd when in bloom. Great shot. V BTW, I hadn't been having Pbase problems.
