This guy at the Washington Fish Market, where we hadn’t been for like 10 years, was just great, displaying his blue crabs for me, and many of them.

I’ve decided it’s time to start a new Washington, D.C., gallery, a continuation of http://www.pbase.com/helenpb/america_return_washington since that one was getting a bit unwieldy. As I said when we returned from our last six-year stint overseas, I don’t want to redo Washington since I did it in detail from 2006 to 2010 in http://www.pbase.com/helenpb/washington_dc_a_capital_city and several other galleries, so am just trying to find interesting or different things and events here to photograph.
