The patriotic cow

In 2003, on our way to another posting in Ankara from one in Okinawa, we stopped in Brussels as Tim had consultations there. I was thinking of redoing my Okinawa gallery when I came across these pictures from Brussels, which I don’t think I ever posted. I had found this exhibit so delightful, I’ve decided to do a small gallery on it, years after the fact.

I can’t explain why I chose this perspective, but there must have been a reason -- maybe to show the green, one of the Belgian national colors.

One of the few cow pictures I have left – I didn’t take all that many since I had to bring our dog, Tilki, with me, wherever I went, which limited where I could go and made picture-taking a bit difficult, to say the least.

The sad state of the Jefferson Memorial, posted earlier:

Well, this cow has the Belgian colors and a green udder. The cows in the back look great too.
