Kingdom Centre

I probably haven’t photographed Kingdom Centre for a couple of years now, but it was my “first” building in Riyadh, and still remains breathtaking. It’s the third tallest building in Saudi Arabia at 302.3 m (992 ft) and 65 stories.

This was sort of comical as I was on crutches in the middle of the street, with Tim carrying my camera, then we switched (he took crutches and I took camera), but I was in the wrong place so had to move further into the street. There wasn’t much traffic, but there was some, which had to drive around me, and one man even pulled over and asked if we wanted him to take our picture. Come to think of it, I should have said yes ;-).

Spectacular capture of this building rising so high above this street. It reminds me on the twin towers of "Lord of the rings"

maybe the designers shouldn't have placed it so exactly on the street axis!
