I wouldn’t normally include this, but it’s a brand new hotel in Doha, the Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl – Doha, located in The Pearl, a giant residential area built on a man-made island. Everybody was talking about it as being a real competitor for business, but I think it demonstrates the sheer opulence of construction in Qatar.
