Now that I have finally finished my Copenhagen gallery (final picture from Malmö below), I have time to devote myself to other pictures, although I don’t really have much to work on from Saudi Arabia. We are going on a tour this weekend, though, to a very unusual part of the country, which hopefully will provide some good photo ops. Now I just have to decide what camera(s) to bring…
Meanwhile, I’m trying out a few new cameras, with this image of our house having been taken with my new Nikon D810. The D800, which I ended up loving after a rocky start, was beginning to misbehave again, as it did in Budapest, but there’s no place to get it repaired here. I also bought a new Sony RX100 M3, to replace the M2, which never was the same after the 100 percent humidity in Oman. I took the same picture as this with it (hard to get out anywhere on my own ;-)), but there was simply no comparison in the detail, although I really love the Sony for the kind of unobtrusive photography I need to do around here.
