North Atlantic coast (8/8)

While on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, we took a hike along the cliffs overlooking the North Atlantic, where lava has flowed into the sea, creating many unusual volcanic formations as well as black sand.

Our friend, who lives in Reykjavik, was picking these berries, of which there were a lot on the trail above the sea. Thanks to Buz, I now know they're crowberries (which I now recall our friend mentioning).
