The quintessential Omani souvenir – a curved dagger. There are a lot of new ones around, but the antiques are quite valuable (and expensive). The thing is, I wouldn’t know how to tell the difference, so we didn’t buy one this time around, although I do see the one I would choose among these. Maybe next trip.
