Compound gate

We were told this enormous compound housed the residence of the nearby mosque's imam, but honestly the place is gigantic -- looking more like a conference center than a private home -- on a very large square block of land. I'll have to investigate further.

Such a fabulous entrance. If the gate is an indication this home is huge! V

Fascinating. I wonder what it is if not a private home! That gate is very imposing. V

You find the most fascinating gates, Helen. I love the composition with that little patch of sky in the middle. V
