This is just a small part of this enormous pedestrianized area (more like a very wide street starting with a gate on the river and extended by very long street ending in another city gate). The entire length of the area is full of these marvelous buildings, which were rebuilt after almost total destruction during and following World War II. I don't think I've ever seen such a beautiful historic center anywhere in the world.
