We had our annual Easter egg hunt for the embassy community on Saturday, and before most of the guests had arrived, my husband and a colleague were distributing the eggs on the front lawn. Sahraa ran up to our friend, who isn't even a dog person, and parked herself at his side. It was amazing; I've never seen her take to anybody like that before. Those of you who have read or heard about Sahraa know she is incredibly camera averse, but in this instance she didn't even notice the lens pointed at her.
