This paper from what is effectively George Washington's hometown features a wood cut portrait of the first president probably done by someone who would have known fist hand what he looked like. Washington Died in 1799. There is also an add for a tract of land for sale by Bushrod Washington who inherited Mount Vernon from George Washington.
