I was too. Busted my beloved decade old flip flops jumping out of
the boat into the Lake of Death (Lake Togo - long story, another time).
So, I tried my hardest to go barefoot - the inhabitants of the
village were just so insistent that I use their sandals that I
eventually gave in.
