My wife phoned me when I was out birding to tell me that there was this strange white, ugly-headed, bird strutting around not far from our house.It took me about 15 minutes to get home to check it out. The bird was still strutting around and seemed quite tame. I suspect it is an escapie from a truck traveling along the six-lane Queensway nearby, but perhaps someone in our area has been raising these domesticated birds and this one escaped??? Later that day, it had dissapeared.
