Six images of one of the three Osprey nestlings taking its second of two observed flights from the nest. After initially doing some jumping and wing flapping above the nest, it decided "that's it, I'm going to look for Mom". After circling the nest several times, it returned to the nest, landing like a pro. Mom arrived right after its return to the nest with a nice reward of fried fish for breakfast. It almost seemed that Mom had been watching from a distance, waiting for this triumphant moment.

I watched two flights, I think of the same juvie. Others told me that a few hours later all three had completed their maiden flights and that one had flown off towards the river and stayed away for some 20 - 30 minutes.
