Top image: With Mom aboard and Big Sister wanting to get back on to the nest, Little Brother tells her in no uncertain terms to stay on the branch as there is no room for three in/on the nest. Then again, maybe he is just bored and having a big yawn.


Whatever the case, Big sister jumps back towards the nest and tries to scramble aboard and......


..........scramble she does with all wings a-flapping and Little Brother looking scared as though afraid he might be pushed over the far edge. All while Mom is trying to have a quick nap.


The shoving match continues with both Owlets flapping their wings and neither wanting to give an inch. Mom remains undeterred and continues to hog the far half of the nest.


The shoving match continues for some time until finally Mom decides to move and to eventually leave the crowded nest for a perch high in the pines.
