Dogwood (hand painted with Marshall Oils)

L3d-Dogwood 044
1. Deleted layers back to original image converted to b&w using channel mixer.
2. Used instructions in "Digital Photo Art" by Theresa Airey for a Bromoil look, so I:
a. Stamped visual to a new layer.
b. Used Filters > Noise > Add Noise
c. Monochromatic checked
d. Added noise between 25 and 35% range. For this image I selected 25%. After seeing the print out, I might go with a higher percent in the future.
e. Selected Uniform as the distribution mode.
3. Printed on Bergger PN 12 Water color tapestry. Using QTR (Curve = UC-EnhMatte-cool; resolution 1440, bi-directional, matte ink). I am wondering if I should be printing a lighter black image. If I wanted to make the entire image lighter in the printout, what should I do in photoshop.
4. Added Marshal oils. Used Tree Green, Burnt Sienna (mosthly background) Cadmium yellow. Blended yellow and green in some of the leaves and stems.
5. Used a pencil in orange for staymen and brown for anther tops. Hope I got the names here correct.
6. Did a lot of rub down with cotton for a much more subtle paint look.

other sizes: small medium original auto

Very nice additions. The color looks like a pastel or colored pencil rendering!
