stepping out of the void

This image started out going one way and ended in an entirely different place.
I originally thought it would go in the Sudek gallery as he did a series of
wrapped women heads. That was where I thought I would end up, but sometimes
other ideas take over so I put it here the in manipulated gallery.

This one still caught my eye.
Really incredible Rene.

You've manipulated the subject, changed textures, played with scale and added unexpected elements here but because of the monochromatic tones, everything works well together. This is excellent!

Surprising, though provoking and beautifully done.

I dont normally go for manipulated images in a big way Rene, however this is exceptional. For me, it works because of the composition itself, but also because of the way you have controlled the tones so well. It reminds me of the work of the Australian artist John Olsen. KMc

This is incredible. I've been back at least 3 times!
I know exactly what you mean,Rene...how an image starts out going one way and end up somewhere totally unexpected. V

Weird! In a really neat, experimental sort of way.
