Borre-style strap-end with three round-eared bear heads, 43 mm long.

A cast copper-alloy Anglo-Scandinavian strap end, Thomas type B4 (Medieval Small Finds Datasheet 32). Late 9th / Mid 10th century AD in date. Found on a prominent Anglo-Saxon / Viking site in North Yorkshire.
